For three years I studied traditional Japanese Shodo, brush calligraphy in Tokyo, developing a practice in Sumi ink on paper combined with brushed elements of red cinnabar ink, pigment and gold leaf.

Currently working with digital renditions and compositions derived from my original sumi paintings, I am combining traditional Shodo practice, photography, digital techniques and a love of paper and metal in a natural progression from traditional mediums into contemporary fine art prints and unique pieces.

For information about me, the history of my work and how I started producing limited edition fine art prints, check out my About me page.

You can find information about the high quality materials and surfaces used in the production of my fine art prints on the Materials and Sizes page.
